Summer Girl is Alma Winn - a mid-century modern, decades-married mother of 3 and grandmother of 7; retired contractor, former vision therapist, perpetual entrepreneur, accidental designer/painter and self-styled Partista (party artist) who...
...will at times seek escape, inspiration or influence in a glass (glasses???) of prosecco...
...has about as many photos of sunsets as her grandkids on her phone...
...understands that, when she throws a multitude of ideas against the wall, the universe will ultimately decide what sticks...
...finds utter joy in initiating a spontaneous sing along or dance party...
...believes that effective spoken or written expression may sometimes include a
well-placed f-bomb...
...saw the quote, “Be brave enough to be bad at something new” and found validation. She printed and laminated the quote and hung it in her office. She learned to paint, moved to Maui and opened Island Art Party. (Not necessarily in that order...)
She’s grateful that opportunity continues to knock and she can still hear it. Will color inside the lines…as long as she draws the lines. Pretty sure she should be simplifying her life but finds that rearranging it is more fun, and lives every day by 2 words:
LUCKY ENOUGH.
